1. The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Improving the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Secondary Education Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

 

2. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of Procurement of furniture for STEM labs for 20 sites (18 schools, Pedagogical College, Pedagogical University) as briefly listed below 

   - Table Set for Student (Set: 1 Table + 2 Chairs)

   - Teacher Table

   - Chair for Teachers

   - Students Table for Math-classrooms

   - Soft Chair for teachers and students (Math-classrooms)

   - Table for IT classroom. 

Delivery period is 120 days from Contract Signing Date. 

 

3. Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.

 

4. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications defined in the Bidding Document may participate in this bidding:

Submission of audited financial statements or, if not required by the law of the Bidder’s country, other financial statements acceptable to the Purchaser, for the last three (3) years (2023, 2024, 2025) to demonstrate the current soundness of the Bidder’s financial position. As a minimum, the Bidder’s net worth for the last year calculated as the difference between total assets and total liabilities should be positive.

Successful completion as main supplier within the last three (3) years of at least two (2) contracts each valued at US Dollars One Million Four Hundred Twenty Thousand (US$ 1,420,000) with nature, and complexity similar to the scope of supply described in Section 6 (Schedule of Supply).

Minimum average annual turnover of US Dollars Three Million Five Hundred Fifty Thousand (US$ 3,550,000) calculated as total payments received by the Bidder for contracts completed or under execution over the last three (3) years.
